Judge's Critique

                                                                                    Judge: Mrs Marie C. Walsh (Chriskay)

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the Limited show. Thanks to the sporting exhibitors for such a good entry, such lovely dogs.  Thanks to the puppies, sorry they didn’t like the floor.

DOG CLASSES

 Puppy Dog    3 (1 Absent)

1st  -    Mr & Miss K. & M. Evans Jones & Halsall -  Valheru  Magnus Maximus

            Big dog 11 months old, nice head and expression, good strong dog, good reach of neck, nice mover.

            Best Puppy in Show

2nd -    Mrs & Mr M. & D. Holder & Howe -  Mascotts Story time

            7 months old, good conformation nice head and expression, good topline moved well for such a youngster.

Junior Dog  4 (1 Absent)

1st  -    Mr & Mrs P.V. & P.A. Pask -  Amarach Aaron of Baronglen

             Big dog, nice head and expression, good conformation, good depth of chest, long tail carried well, nice mover.

2nd -    Ms C. Stirling -  Clanlily Buscuaille of Cuinn

             Another good big dog.  Nice head, dark eye with nice expression.  Nice to see a young handler showing such a big dog.   

             Moved well.  Good tail carriage.

3rd  -   Mr & Mrs J. & T Harris -  Hazianne Big Jake

 Novice Dog    5 (2 Absent)

1st -  Mr & Mrs D. & W. Reeves - Wolfhouse Count Basie

         Good conformation, good depth of chest, nice topline,  well muscled. Moved well.

2nd -  Mr & Mrs J. & T. Harris -  Hazianne Big  Jake

          3rd in Junior Class.  Needs to settle in the ring, showed better in this class.  Nice overall confirmation.

3rd -  Mrs & Mr F. & G. S. Dawson -  Hydebeck Gordian at Graefyn

 Post Graduate Dog  2 (1 Absent)

1st - Mrs D. Treadwell -  Glengail Ggilmore at Floydian

        Really nice dog liked him very much, nice head, dark eye good expression.  Good overall conformation, moved well, nice tail carriage.

 Limit Dog  3 (1 Absent)

1st -  Dr & Miss P.P. & S. Das Purkayastha  -  Ravensbeech Romanus Among Neckrebagh

         Nice head and expression, good furnishing, strong dog, good bone, well muscled, good hind quarters, strong second thigh, nice  

         tail carriage.  Reserve Best Dog

2nd - Mrs & Mrs B. & C. Poole & Sheppard -  Conmeryl Marksman With Goldswift

          Nice shape and nice topline, good head and expression. Nice mover but carried his tail a little high.  Not as settled in the ring as the

          winner.

 Open Dog  3 (1 Absent)

1st -  Mrs S. Dawson -  Stonestorm Dream Apache of Shalico

         Nice eye and expression, good overall shape and looked commanding when standing, good depth of chest, nice mover. 

         Best Dog and Reserve Best in Show

2nd -Mrs K. Gregory -  Killoughery The Baron ShCM

        Another nice dog, good depth of chest, nice mover but preferred tail carriage of the winner.

BITCH CLASSES

 Puppy Bitch  6 (2 Absent)

1st -  Mr & Miss K. & M. Evans-Jones & Halsall - Valheru Rayna

         Good overall shape, good head and expression, nice mover with long well carried tail, well behaved, liked the good depth of 

         chest. Best Puppy Bitch 

2nd - Dr & Mrs C.E. Sheppard - Goldswift Enchanted Legacy

          Nice head and expression, good overall shape, moved well, nice long tail carried well.  Well behaved.

3rd  - Mrs K Bruce - Goldswift Leap of Faith

 Junior Bitch  2  (0 Absent)

1st  - Ms C. Stirling - Clanlily Wishing on a Star

         Liked the overall shape looked good when standing, nice head, dark eye and good expression, great coat, moved well.

2nd - Mrs K. Gregory - Madalinca Spring Joy of Killoughery

         Very nice shape and topline, nice head and expression, nice mover but preferred the stifle and muscle of winner of this class.

 Novice Bitch  2 (1 Absent)

1st - Mr & Mrs D. & W. Reeves -  Ballyphelan Fianne

        Good overall shape, nice head, dark eye, good expression, nice furnishings.  Tail carried well on the move.  Good strong muscles in 

        hind quarters.

 Post Graduate Bitch  6  (4 Absent)

1st -  Mrs K. Gregory - Killoughery Bliss

         Good overall bitch, great depth of chest nice front and plenty heart room, really good coat, good mover and carried tail well. 

         Loked really good when standing.  Best Bitch & Best in Show

2nd - Ms C. Stirling - Clanlily Million Dollar Gem

         Nice head and expression, nice overall shape, good coat, tail a little high on the move.

 Limit Bitch  3  (2 Absent)

1st - Mr & Mrs P.V. & P.A.  Pask - Amarach Caitin at Baronglen

        Nice eye , head and expression,  well muscled, good hindquarters, moved well.  Nice overall shape and topline when standing.

Open Bitch 5, 2 abs)

1st - Mrs R. Cramphorn - Yelxba Victoria ShCM

        Nice overall shape, nice head and expression, good coat. Moved well, good tail carriage. Looked good standing.

         Reserve Best Bitch

2nd - Dr & Mrs C.E. Sheppard - Conmeryl Miss Scarlet for Goldswift

           Nice head and expression, good topline and moved well.
